The first week of Lent
Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil. He ate nothing at all during those days, and when they were over, he was famished. Luke 4:1
This week we begin our Lenten study groups. There are three groups meeting each week to reflect on the Gospel passages for the Sundays during Lent. The groups are meeting on Tuesdays at 10.00am and 7.30pm and on Wednesdays at 7.30pm. All groups are meeting in the Harbour Room at Christ Church Cathedral.
