Christ the King Festival a Huge Hit
A wonderful celebration of cathedral life was enjoyed recently as parishioners marked the feast of Christ the King, our patronal festival, with a lunch after our Sunday morning service.
Bishop Greg Thompson was the guest preacher and celebrant for the special 10.00am Eucharist. He then joined around 60 members of the congregation who stayed for lunch in the Cathedral Harbour Room. The Darwin Youth Choir performed for those gathered, as a special treat during the lunch.
A fine selection of salads, barbecued meat and then dessert made a celebration feast that was enjoyed by everyone from the youngest to the oldest.

A wonderful time of worship, friendship and interaction. The performance given by the Darwin Youth Choir was a wonderful addition which contributed to the success of the day.
